RIP JD SALINGER

What really knocks me out is a book, when you're all done reading it, you wished the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it.

-----------------------------

What I was really hanging around for, I was trying to feel some kind of a good-by. I mean I've left schools and places I didn't even know I was leaving them. I hate that. I don't care if it's a sad good-by or a bad good-by, but when I leave a place I like to know I'm leaving it. If you don't, you feel even worse.

PALS WITH BOTH GALS

I snagged this photo of Andrea & Nada in a brief moment that they were in the same city/country/time zone, shortly after ringing in the New Year. It seems it's impossible to keep them both away from California, the second we get one back, the other scurries off. Well, I can't complain, someone needs to keep Organizations Non-Profiting (yet winning millions) and geographical proximity seems to hold no bearing on running a fantastic music blog (<< seriously, go read their blog).

I also really wanted to post this photo for the following, seemingly obvious, reasons:
a) Ross' facial expression.
b) Andrea's reaction to subject a.
c) Brooks pointin'-n-shootin'.

MILAN

Milan, Italy!
We had two days here too, and we took the necessary trains to get to the city center to explore.
I think these photos are my favourite from the tour, and I had a great time in Milan.
My camera battery died immediately after taking the last photo, so I wish I could've taken more.
We went to see The Last Supper and I think PK snagged an illegal photo of it on his cell phone.

BERLIN

Berlin, Germany is the next stop. Here Dougie, Paul and I sussed out a train that took us downtown on a gloomy, overcast afternoon. Berlin is one of the newer architectural cities in Germany after the Second World War, but the mix of old and new is quite pretty.
