...to show you feel, that your love for me is real

The power duo responsible for such musical endeavors as Arietta & "What's Poppin" (better known as Tyler & Shehzaad) basically rule at karaoke. If the photo wasn't a giveaway, check out their song choice below.

Colly X Chinatown Mall

"Come on, this is the dirt mall. Cops don't come here."
"Neither does any self-respecting consumer."

Colleen (Halifax native / sweet new pal) and I took a stroll through the chinatown mall the other day.
Here's some photos to prove it.

I LOVE MY FRIENDS!

spencer's house show

spencer had a little end of summer house show/party and titan, lost cities, arietta and i am committing a sin played.

arietta kept the lights on when they played, and i couldn't really get any good photos of them, but i took some super punk looking photos of the rest of the bands.

this one of paul marc is my favourite, but if you click on it you can see the rest

no surprises in the record collection

today i spent the day finishing up the grueling task of completing the inventory of my record collection. over the year i have bought a bunch of new records, and let them pile up on top of my shelf, or even worse, put them away without making note of them in my spreadsheet.

i have 1630 records, and if you'd like to see the list you can just click right there, and here are a few photos.

and i thought this looked cool too.

i look forward to taking photos of my dan yemin related collection once i get the seemingly mythical package of rare paint it black records from andy.

eating glass.

here are some photos of eating glass, from what seems to have possibly been their last show before jason & jose decided to quit the band. tension was peaked through this set, and it was actually pretty imminent that the end was near for these guys, which actually made for a good set. i guess when a band that's supposed to sound pissed off are actually pissed off at eachother, that anger transmits and the music benefits. this show was at siesta nouveaux, opening up for the endless blockade.

blue jays game with vik & mimmi

when the toronto blue jays were actually playing well, and had a decent chance of making the playoffs, i went to a few games with vik & mimmi.

now might be a perfect time to give a shout out to my favourite sports blog; drunk jay's fans
